Sertaconazol (Sertaconazole) is a broad-spectrum imidazole antifungal agent with additional antibacterial properties. It works by inhibiting fungal ergosterol biosynthesis, disrupting cell membrane integrity. Uniquely, it also inhibits the aggregation of keratin proteins, making it particularly effective against dermatophytes.
