Suplatast Tosilate is a Th2 cytokine inhibitor used in the treatment of allergic diseases including bronchial asthma, atopic dermatitis, and allergic rhinitis. It selectively inhibits the production of IL-4 and IL-5 from T helper 2 (Th2) cells, thereby suppressing IgE synthesis and eosinophil infiltration.
